New York City, New York – VOW Digital Health is accomplishing what no other app has been able to do: help employers and event organizers gather COVID-19 safe.
“When the pandemic happened, we saw our clients in the event, meeting, hospitality, and entertainment industries lose so much money because of the restrictions on gathering,” says Jennifer Brisman, VOW’s Founder and CEO. “The one thing our clients needed more than anything was a way to get back to normal so that they could stay in the black while keeping event attendees safe, so we worked to create VOW Digital Health.”
The one-of-a-kind app gives employers and event organizers testing options and a sophisticated technology that will help them uphold their commitment to COVID-19 safety. The app allows them to streamline COVID-19 health data, communicate requirements and status to attendees and employees, and access COVID-19 testing and compliance resources.
Brisman has received a lot of positive feedback about the app. “They like the app’s customizable and automated workflow and command center,” says Brisman. “They can manage the COVID-19 health information of employees, customers and attendees.” The app captures CDC screenings, COVID-19 test results, and vaccination records. “And, of course, we’ve made it private and secure since such information is sensitive. That was one of our biggest priorities.”
The attendee’s experience was carefully designed so that it would flow easily from start to finish. Directions are clear, and it is simple to take and upload a COVID-19 test. Those who have already been vaccinated are able to upload proof of this as well. Once this information is loaded, VOW Digital Health validates the test or vaccine, providing extra reassurance to employers and event organizers.
“One of the biggest benefits is, simply, verification. Up until an attendee joins an event, that person is ‘cleared,’” says Brisman. “The individual will arrive with their VOW Digital Health Pass, which shows they are allowed to attend. If, however, an individual is unfortunately denied access, they can join the event virtually, and if they have any questions, they are directed to live support.”
The app’s benefits will have a large impact across the economy and on people’s lives. “So much was lost when the quarantine happened and people had to work from home,” says Brisman. “We all know that. I think a lot of people, including me, will be relieved to have an app like this available. We can all reclaim something we’ve been missing for a year now. I think, though, what is truly unique about our app is who we are serving: professionals. A lot of the apps out there only focus on customers. Professionals are really under-served, so I’m glad we can fill this need.”
The release of VOW Digital Health comes at the perfect time. Brisman knows that the event, meeting, entertainment, and hospitality industries were severely impacted, so their ability to resume life as normal by using the app will be welcomed. This is especially true as restrictions on gatherings are eased.
“With the app, life will be able to swing back to something closer to what we lost,” says Brisman. “I, for one, will be glad to see businesses and event organizers recover from their losses. I am profoundly thankful that VOW Digital Health is helping so many people turn the corner on a hard time in our world. People will have more confidence when they attend meetings and events, and we can have a 2022 that is very different from 2021.”
