WORKFORIT Apparel: The New Brand for Blue Collar Workers

Share

WORKFORIT Apparel was created by a skilled laborer for skilled laborers. After being told for years that he was wasting his time going into construction, Ryan Fusco has been working in the industry for over ten years and has expanded his entrepreneurship into making a clothing brand to show his pride and support for blue collar trades. Through his YouTube Channel he is able to reach more people with his uploads about his life and interests and even attract more attention to his brand.

“I am proud of what I do. I never wanted to go to college, I wanted to work with my hands so I started working in masonry after high school. I haven’t regretted it and I like what I’m doing with my brand,” Ryan says. Dedication and passion are what drives him; he built his brand on the principles of involvement and hard work. “Starting out, I did everything myself, and as I’ve grown, I have had to learn to let my employees do their jobs. I’m a bit of a perfectionist so I work very closely with all aspects of the brand.”

WORKFORIT grew pretty quickly. “I have been constantly reinvesting funds back into my business starting with the $250 I put into to get it off the ground. You do not need to be a millionaire to make your idea a brand or a product.,”  Ryan explains. He focused on keeping overhead as little as possible for as long as he could so that when it was time to expand, WORKFORIT had the funds to do so. This brand has been growing from its own resources exponentially from the time that has been established until now. “We put our heart and soul into each order. Finding employees that share that passion is hard. We’ve also struggled to find manufacturers willing to make certain products that we once made in house.”

Ryan and his team’s goal is to not only be one of the top brands in “blue collar” apparel, but any and every faction of life that requires you to work for your results. They’ve been working on a line of gym apparel, and will be moving into trade specific workwear as well soon. They sell apparel ranging from hats, t-shirts, tank tops, crop tops, sweatshirts as well as accessories such as lanyards, key tags. Their number one sellers are their decals. “Those always go really quick once we restock,” he says.

When Ryan started WORKFORIT apparel, it was an attempt to restore pride in blue collar work as well as promote it to the next generation as not only a great career path to get into, but one that allows for unlimited growth potential. His YouTube channel is one of his favorite sources of spreading blue collar work appreciation and insight. “I started a YouTube channel to share my life, career and successes with the world. It’s currently at 342k subscribers. I constantly get messages from people who are either in high school and my videos helped them decide a blue collar career path was for them despite pressure from others, or those who quit their jobs to chase their passion of working with their hands. It’s extremely touching,” Ryan says smiling.

From the beginning of his journey he had about forty-four orders the year WORKFORIT first launched. Now, they are projected to ship out 17,400 orders this year. “We are ranked in the top 2% of online stores that were launched the same time ours was,” he stated.

WORKFORIT Apparel dares to be different, they are moving into the direction of the future. Ryan and his team work around the clock to make sure everyone’s orders are perfect and their services are the highest quality. See the power of hard work manifest itself as WORKFORIT Apparel.
