A Glimmer Of Hope: Priyanka Jariwala’s Impact

When life is busy, falling ill or getting injured can slow things now. Having access to methods of combating these can help you make progress. One of those methods is physical therapy. You can work with physical therapists like Priyanka Jariwala PT, MS as she uses her skills to help you overcome the threat injuries and illnesses pose to your productivity.

Priyanka is an expert in orthopedics, sports-related injuries, human kinesiology, and musculoskeletal therapy. She is trained to detect small irregularities in a person’s movement and target the tissues that are producing the anomalies using a technique called Selective Functional Movement Analysis (SFMA).

One of the people she has helped in the past is Sam. Sam had this to say about her: “Priyanka is awesome and provides the highest level of service! I started physical therapy in horrible pain with little mobility and now feel tremendously better. I am able to take long walks and even ride my bike now. Thank you, Priyanka!”

Priyanka practices at Performance Rehabilitation, a physical therapy clinic based in Yonkers, New York. The clinic provides a wide range of therapeutic services to clients. Perhaps their main attribute is the fact that they do not have a waiting list. They schedule patients within 1 to 3 days of booking in order to avoid overcrowding.

With Priyanka’s help, Performance Rehabilitation is making a real impact and earning widespread recognition. In 2021, the clinic was named the Best Physical Therapy Clinic In Yonkers by Expertise.com.

“I am not slowing down anytime soon,” she reveals. “If people need a hand, I will be there to lend it. I was raised to believe good begets good. While I am not one for cliches, my instinct is to be the difference I want to see in the world.”

Priyanka’s colleagues have described her as motivated, client-focused, and caring. That explains why she earned a spot on ThreeBestRated’s list of Top 3 Physical Therapists in Yonkers. “Honestly, I felt honored and humbled to make that list,” she remembers. “I will always give this job my 100%, every day. I feel my clients deserve that much.”

On the significance of the physical therapy industry, Priyanka believes it has a lot to offer society. “I feel it is an important part of healthcare. I think physical therapists, in general, play a huge role in the daily lives of their patients. That is why I am eager to participate in more education programs to promote the profession and share the importance of the work that we do. I would also like to be a part of an outreach program to spread awareness about common conditions which can benefit from a successful physical therapy rehabilitation.”

Priyanka has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy from Pravara College, Loni, India. She also has a Master of Science degree in concentration in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. By way of professional certifications, she has a certification in Applied Functional Science from Gray Institute. She is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. “I chose this life and this life chose me. I have no regrets. I believe a just cause is worth dedicating your entire life to. I will keep working to make a difference in people’s lives. It affords great fulfillment to know that you are making a real, positive impact. It is a very rewarding experience, and I am just getting started,” she adds.
