Murway Handbags Made in Italy

One glance at Murway’s 2022 lookbook, and it’s easy to see why the brand is on the edge of blowing up. Their chic MoMo Bag is available in a variety of colors such as Electric Blue, Soft Pink, and Cactus Green and comes with a detachable strap.

Priced at an opulent but still affordable price of $249.00, the sophisticated bag’s modern yet iconic design can easily compete with the Gucci and Louis Vuitton of the fashion industry. The new “MoMo” Collection was inspired by and named after Denishio’s late uncle, who passed away from Covid-19 on September 2021. These colorful bags celebrate MoMo’s vibrant and loving energy that lives beyond his physical existence.

A Timeless Statement Piece

Denishio Murray designs handbags that are hand-made in Italy using genuine leather only. “I create timeless pieces that people can afford. There were times when I could not afford luxury leather, so I know how it feels to be excluded. I see my handbags as investment pieces that are accessible to everyone,” he explains.

The universe reciprocates the energy you put into the world. -Denishio Murray.

“My mom inspired me in so many ways,” Denishio explains. “She had a strong work ethic. I always admired that about her. She used to work multiple jobs to make sure we had everything we needed. I think that’s why I’m always working on various projects myself.”

“My mother always let me style her for meetings and events. I’ve always loved fashion since I was a child. I understood from a young age that when people look good, they feel good. It made me happy to see other people exude this kind of confidence,” Denishio shares.

Following My Dreams

“I went to college and received a Bachelor of Art in Sociology. I planned to become a therapist because I’ve always wanted to help people be their best in some form or another. I knew it was better to have a college education in the long run, but I never let go of my dream of being a designer. Throughout the years, I continued to design bags and style people on the side,” Denishio explains.

“Finally, in 2020, I packed a moving truck and set off for Los Angeles to fulfill my dream of starting a leather bag line. It has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. Now I get to design, style, and curate an aesthetic for myself and others. I feel like I’m finally in my happy place.”

Denishio says, “After facing challenges associated with launching a brand, all the sacrifices have finally paid off. It was slow at first. I spent money weekly trying to build a brand with no foreseeable returns. Now, my profit margins are up, and I’m just so incredibly grateful for every purchase.”

“My advice for others interested in starting their own fashion line is to put in the work it takes to make your dream a reality. Never let anyone limit your imagination.
